Jouw speelveld

Thanks to your efforts, our services are always presented in style. As a Front-end Developer you are responsible for website development and improving customer experience based on data analyze. In this way, you directly contribute to a happy, healthy and sporty Netherlands. As a Front-end Developer you score by:

• writing elegant, testable components without side-effects to provide functionality to the users
• website development, adding new functionality and improving customer experience based on data analysis and customer feedback
• working closely together with the UI/UX designers to improve the flows and UI
• integrating the application with other components of the system using the available API's

Technologies we are currently using are, but not limited to:

• (Cloud)software architecture based on Azure
• C# 10, .Net Core 8, T-SQL, EF Core, Blazor, Nodejs/Express
• VueJS, Webpack, SCSS, GraphQL, Pinia, HTML, CSS
• Jira, Azure DevOps, Robot framework, Git, IaC (Terraform, ARM)

You will work in the Technology department, the heart of Nederlandse Loterij, where we work together on the development of new systems and applications. The development teams are responsible for further developing the online channels for our lottery websites such as Staatsloterij and Lotto as well as Casino and Sports Betting. The environments are fully integrated with our backend APIs and CMS, delivering flexibility and optimized user flows.

The dev teams will be closely aligned with the product teams, continuously searching for new opportunities to improve functionality and safeguard operations and improve user experience based on feedback and data analysis.

Jouw talent

• Bachelor/Master in a technical field (master is preferred)
• Deep technical knowledge of IT systems, frontend best practices, processes and various development methods as mentioned above
• A minimum of 6 years of working experience as a front-end developer
• Good knowledge of the Dutch language
• Experience with agile working

Furthermore, for this vacancy, you are capable to give input during refinements and give push back to the business on the best technical solution. You have strong analytical skills and you are data-driven: you use data as a starting point for decisions. You dare to take responsibility for the performance & development of your products and are being honest and transparent during retrospectives.

Jouw score

As a Front-end Developer we offer you:

• a salary between €4.400,- and €6.300,- gross a month, depending on your experience
• a fulltime position for 40 hours per week. You start with an annual contract and have the prospect of a permanent position
• an interesting bonus scheme
• you can enjoy a healthy and varied lunch in our corporate restaurant for €3,00

Our office in Rijswijk is effectively where you do your work, but you mainly work in a place that best suits what you do. See below for other terms and conditions of employment.
