IFRS Policies Expert/Specialist Responsibilities

• Help develop and review FMO's accounting policies, specifically for financial instruments, business combinations, and consolidation suite.

• Develop, update, and upkeep the comprehensive accounting manual relevant for internal processing and presentation of all key financial statement elements.

• Collaborate with other FMO departments to anticipate potential accounting problems and suggest practical solutions for planned business transactions.

• Manage business operations, promptly identify financial issues, and create high-quality accounting memos for management, auditors, and external stakeholders.

• Assess complex transactions and new products from IFRS perspective and draft position papers.

• Proactively suggest improvements for statutory annual report, including disclosures, source data requirements, and input from various departments.

• Actively participate and assist with preparation and review of the IFRS financial statements, and the related audit deliverables.

• Review new and/or pending accounting standards to determine their effect on FMO, then ensure the correct application of these standards.

• Stay up to date on relevant IFRS reporting regulatory developments and connected regulations such as ESG related developments which have interconnectivity with IFRS reporting subjects.

• Gross yearly salary between EUR 85k- 110k per year (based on a 40-hour workweek, including holiday allowance).
