Candidate profile

HTH is seeking to appoint a Lecturer with a background in Data Analytics and Revenue Management. For this appointment, we would welcome applications from high quality candidates within any area of data analytics and Revenue Management.

You have/are:

  • Proficient in data analysis tools and the ability to interpret data sets are crucial for identifying patterns, trends, and opportunities for revenue optimization. Use of RMS to automate pricing decisions, track performance, and integrate with other hotel systems.
  • Able to accurately forecast demand essential for setting optimal pricing strategies and managing inventory effectively. Setting-up pricing and promotional strategies for different market segments. Recognizing the value of different customer groups and adjusting tactics to maximize revenue from each segment.
  • Have a solid understanding of the hospitality industry, including market trends, competitive landscape, and customer behavior for making informed decisions that impact revenue.
  • Seek satisfaction in managing and stimulating students;
  • A Master's degree, or be willing to obtain a Master's degree;
  • An enthusiastic approach to education with an emphasis on coaching students to deal with real-world professional assignments;
  • An excellent command of the English language (C2 level);
  • Excellent social skills, and ability to work independently;
  • A proactive attitude to problem solving;
  • Insight into and knowledge of current affairs and developments in (hospitality) management;
  • Excellent coaching skills;
  • Alignment to the vision, mission and strategy of Hotelschool The Hague;

Remuneration

Hotelschool The Hague offers a salary based on scale 11 the labour agreement of Universities of Applied Science (CAO HBO) with a range between € 4234.29 and € 5936.77 per month based on fulltime employment, depending on your professional experience and qualifications.

In addition, Hotelschool The Hague offers:

Hotelschool The Hague works with a 40-hour workweek. The starting date for this position is as soon as possible depending on the notice period of the applicant.
