Job description

As procurement manager, you are responsible for the strategic development and further development of the procurement department. Within this position, you are responsible for a wide range of products and categories. You research the domestic and foreign supplier market and assess the SLA (service level agreement). You monitor the agreements and targets made with various national and international suppliers. As procurement manager, you are responsible for the contract and price negotiations of all procurement activities. As in this position, you report directly to the director of procurement.

• Responsible for the procurement plans & strategies for the various categories
• Strategic procurement, contract and supplier management
• Building partnership with budget holders and suppliers
• Conducting price negotiations at international level
• Supplier sourcing

Required background

• Relevant completed bachelor's or master's degree
• NEVI 1 certificate (is an advantage)
• Extensive strategic purchasing experience within the packaging industry at international level
• You are entrepreneurial, commercially-minded and have excellent negotiation skills
• Affinity with improving procurement processes and supplier management
• Fluent in Dutch and English (German is an advantage)

• Gross annual salary between €70.000 - €80.000
