Project Developer - Financial & Budget Development Specialist
Date: 8 Dec 2023
Oxfam Novib stands behind the people who stand up for equality. Together, we fight for a world where everyone has equal opportunities, regardless of gender, ethnicity, or skin color. A world where everyone feels safe; where income gaps are shrinking instead of growing, where climate change is tackled in a firmer and more honest way.
Equality is the common thread throughout our activities and projects, but also internally. We are aware that our team of colleagues can be even more diverse and that having a diverse team is the only way to see the world from a broad perspective. To obtain a multi-voiced team, we are therefore calling in particular on women, members of the BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ communities, or people with disabilities to apply for this job.
As the Project Developer - Financial and Budget Development Specialist, you'll be a dynamic member of the Partnerships and Program Development (P&P) unit. We lead the charge in developing major programs and projects, ensuring top-notch standards, including partnership development and capacity strengthening, are adhered to. Our team orchestrates unified approaches in donor relations with governments and foundations. We're the go-to source for delivering and enhancing high-quality program development and donor engagement services. Join us to set and elevate standards for exceptional programs, projects, and campaigns. Be at the forefront of forging impactful partnerships, alliances, and empowering program partners.
In this role, you take the reins in ensuring quality and comprehensive budget development for exciting new projects and programs. Picture yourself collaborating closely with unit managers, project leads, and finance specialists in our country offices and partner organizations. As a key player, you'll lead the establishment of innovative standards for program and project budgets, all while crafting competitive proposals with an eye on achieving maximum cost recovery.
