We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior DevOps Infrastructure Engineer to join our Private Cloud team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining our private cloud infrastructure automation. You will collaborate with other IT professionals to ensure that our private cloud environment is functioning optimally and meets the needs of our organization.

Wat ga je doen?

• Design and implement automation solutions to support the organization's needs

• Design, implement and support the VMware landing zone using Infrastructure as Code principles and tools (e.g. Ansible, Python, Terraform, GitLab, etc.)

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the Ansible Automation Platform, VMware, Aria Automation (VRA/VRO) and Tanzu Kubernetes

• Collaborate with other IT professionals to ensure that the VMware environment integrates effectively with other systems and applications

• Contribute to the development of automation scripts and tools to streamline processes

Wat je meebrengt

• 5+ years of experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining Infrastructure automation, and delivering Infrastructure as a Code through tools like Ansible, Terraform

• Solid skills in a high-level programming language (e.g., Python, Golang)

• Understanding (hybrid) cloud best practices in areas of security, governance, compliance, access management and networking

• Kubernetes or similar container virtualization experience. VMware Tanzu would be preferable

• You possess a natural inclination towards DevOps aspects such as automation, continuous integration/delivery, and site reliability

• You are communicative, both in writing and verbal. You are productive with a keen eye for quality, and able to transfer knowledge effectively. You have an open mindset that shows learning agility

• Bonus: Experience with VMware technologies, including vROps, ESXi, vSAN, vCenter, vSphere, vRA/vRO and preferably also VCF and VxRail
