Your role

The ICT Applications team is looking for a Technical Application Manager for the Equity domain with preferably excellent eFront knowledge and/or relevant experience. This includes programming languages and integration tools/scripting. As part of ICT, you'll be responsible for ensuring FMO has the business processes and IT systems it needs to deliver financial services to entrepreneurs in developing countries. You'll need to understand FMO's products, processes and organization, and interface with colleagues in the business to identify and define the right solutions for their needs. That could involve anything from streamlining processes to exploring and implementing brand new technologies.

Your tasks:

• Day-to-day Application management/Application support (answer user questions, maintain security profiles, user management, adapt application settings, perform daily checks)
• Analyse business processes, translate business requirements to functional requirements and implementations
• Design, develop, configure, test and release eFront solutions
• You actively participate in various projects which can impact multiple applications
• Cooperate with and manage vendors of our software packages
• Cooperate with and manage consultant's/consultancy firms with whom FMO has a contract for parts of the ICT services.

The salary range for this role is around € 80-90 K (full time, gross per year), depending on your experience.

Your team

The ICT department is responsible for the ICT activities within FMO and consists of four enthusiastic teams, namely: ICT Infrastructure, ICT Service Desk, ICT Applications and ICT Application Development. All teams work with clear guidance from Enterprise Architecture and Quality & Control.

The FMO ICT Applications team is responsible for managing and maintaining FMO's business applications.

Your background

You are analytical and well-structured because you need to understand business needs and find ICT solutions. As you take care articulating your own thought process, as well as provide feedback on the work of others, you possess excellent communication skills. You are a good listener, because you are continuously asking questions and capable of translating the message into concrete actions. Furthermore, you possess:

• As a minimum a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field and well-known overall ICT knowledge
• 5 years of relevant eFront knowledge and experience, including programming languages and integration tools/scripting
• In addition, knowledge in one or more of the following area's and/or systems is a clear advantage: Finance & Control, Accounting, invoicing and financial reporting
• At least five years of experience in Business analysis
• Affinity with the technical part of application management and can work with SQL Server. Knowledge of programming languages, such as VB.NET, JavaScript, SQL, PowerShell.

Additional info about the experience we are looking for:

• Requirements engineering. Translating business issues into IT solutions taking several preconditions into account. Familiar with best practices (e.g., specification by example, user stories)
• Managing and maintaining Finance applications (general ledger, reconciliation, accounts payable automation), for example: Unit 4 Financials, Basware, Broadridge Reconciliation
• Service Oriented Architecture concepts
• Familiarity with corporate banking processes would be an advantage e.g., KYC, KYS, Treasury, Risk Management, Payment Processing, Regulatory Reporting.
