As a Test Engineer Data factory you make sure that our central DWH system for formal reporting functions correctly and meets business requirements. You design and execute test cases, develop and maintain automated test scripts, and analyze and report test results to management.

You will closely with the development team to identify defects early in the development process.

As a test engineer data factory, you are responsible for:

• Design and execute test cases for Data Warehouse testing in Azure environment
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using our Test Framework built in SpecFlow
• Collaborate with the development team to ensure that code changes are tested thoroughly
• Analyze and report test results to management, provide test evidence for our changes
• Maintain test environments and test data

Wat je meebrengt

• Bachelor's degree in ICT, Computer Science, Engineering or related field
• 3+ years of experience in Data Warehouse testing in an Azure environment
• A certificate in software testing like ISTQB
• Experience with test automation and tools like SpecFlow
• Experience with Data models & SQL
• Knowledge of Data Vault modelling
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience in the financial industry is a big plus.

As a Test Engineer you will work in the data factory DevOps team. You work closely together with other test engineers and with the data engineers to identify defects early in the development process.

The data factory DevOps team is a part of the data management office with teams for Data management, Data lakes, DWH, BI reporting teams & risk modelling teams. We are an enthusiastic & international group of men and women.
